Industrial engineering is the branch of the engineering that studies and enables on the elements of analysis, projection, design, planning, optimization and control of the production of goods and services, considering the economic, technical and social aspects. Industrial engineering uses knowledge and methods of mathematical, physical, social sciences, etc. of an ample and generic form, to determine, to design, to specify and to analyze the systems (broadly speaking of the term), and thus to be able to predict and to evaluate its results.
